Wat do u think bout the motorcycle racing on the old airfield.
Airfield
[edit]Two remarks about the airfield:
- more than half this article is about the airfield, wouldn't it be better to create a separate article?
- the article states "no flying activities" however several sources indicate ultralight operations at the western end. quid?

- Correcting myself: the article does mention the ultralight flying; but elsewhere it states the runways are unuseable due to their puir condition. A bit confusing, to me at least. Jan olieslagers (talk) 10:02, 6 July 2019 (UTC)
- The airfield details have been covered by a separate article since 2006; see RAF East Fortune. I will presently merge all the airfield details over there.
- The museum details have been covered by a separate article since 2004; see National Museum of Flight. I will presently merge all the museum details over there.
- @Jan olieslagers The majority of the concrete /tarmac runways are unusable. However, there is a short section that has been maintained to a better standard, sufficient for smaller STOL type aircraft, such as microlights/ultralights. Alternatively, such smaller aircraft only require a small area of grass, hence they could be ok with that too, as long as somebody cuts the grass from time-to-time. Larger aircraft, such as those that might appear at an annual airshow, typically require proper runways.
