Education
[edit]This book suggests he was educated at a different school. I just added that category to the article and will leave that for now. I felt it worth commenting on the talk page to clarify my action. I have not edited the article to reflect this information. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 09:28, 3 May 2012 (UTC)
- To be fair the book is not hugely clear on who is who. Are the names Duncan and Bartle used interchangebly? Are they the same person? Fiddle Faddle (talk) 09:34, 3 May 2012 (UTC)
- I shall leave my internal debate on show for posterity. No point in deleting it after all! Bartle is the father. Confusion was aided by the article on Edgeborough school having it wrong! Read the book more closely. It's not well written, which also helped not one iota. Removed erroneous category. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 09:58, 3 May 2012 (UTC)
Career in art
[edit]Given that this man was an artist, the "career in art" section seems very basic. It tells us that he was commission to decorate the interior of the RMS Queen Mary, but the owners disliked the work and had it removed. There's no mention of any famous paintings or exhibitions or controversies etc. What did he do? 46.208.42.224 (talk) 14:15, 26 January 2013 (UTC)
