Domain (Hong Kong) → Domain (shopping mall) – To avoid confusion with .hk. 67.149.246.163 (talk) 18:01, 26 July 2019 (UTC) --Relisting. Steel1943 (talk) 14:10, 4 August 2019 (UTC)
Support, would prefer Domain (shopping centre) as per the article text and List of shopping centres in Hong Kong, but I do note that the official website uses "shopping mall". Some input from users familiar with local usage would be helpful. PC78 (talk) 18:53, 26 July 2019 (UTC)- Just to comment on this - there are 22 articles disambiguated with "(shopping mall)", 6 that are disambiguated with "(shopping center)" and 17 that are disambiguated with "(shopping centre)". This should probably have a consistent style, and it should probably not be a word that changes depending on region. --Gonnym (talk) 20:13, 26 July 2019 (UTC)
- I disagree entirely on that point. It would not be appropriate to use an American term if the article was for a Britsh shopping centre, for example. MOS:ENGVAR is pretty clear that we prefer no national variety of the language over any other. PC78 (talk) 20:24, 26 July 2019 (UTC)
- Striking my above support since the proposed name invites ambiguity with the Texas mall. This probably needs a bit more thought. I've added a hatnote to the article for now. PC78 (talk) 15:47, 27 July 2019 (UTC)

- Comments There is a similarly named shopping center: The Domain (Austin, Texas) and that should be considered. Also, the current article title isn't confusing to me. That's true even when searching Wikpedia looking for the .hk article use the terms "Domain Hong Kong". The actual articles are also very clear as to what they are about. So if the reason is to avoid confusion, that doesn't seem to be a good enough reason. Furthermore, the local terminology should be used. In the US, a shopping center usually refers to a plaza that often serves a smaller geographic area than a mall but apparently in Hong Kong, "shopping centre" and "shopping mall" are synonymous and that's evident on the List of shopping centres in Hong Kong. Makes sense that there are few or no shopping plazas in Hong Kong given the urban nature and density. HiMyNameIsFrancesca (talk) 22:27, 26 July 2019 (UTC)
- Move to Domain (Hong Kong shopping centre) as ambiguous. In ictu oculi (talk) 10:09, 30 July 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose. At first I supported this, but my little heart can't take the possibility of double parenthetical disambugation. The hatnote will have to do for now. Domain (Hong Kong) is precise enough to be understood to mean the shopping centre. –MJL ‐Talk‐☖ 22:37, 3 August 2019 (UTC)
- It clearly isn't or we wouldn't be having this RM. In ictu oculi (talk) 08:43, 5 August 2019 (UTC)
- My heart can take the possibility of double parenthetical disambigation. Domain (Hong Kong shopping centre) seems the best to me. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 15:16, 4 August 2019 (UTC)
