For consistency change east-west in the first sentence under the geography section to east to west.

The Mycale Strait separates the peninsula from the nearby island of Samos. Named after Mount Mycale, it is only about 1.6 km (0.99 mi) long at its narrowest point, making it one of the smallest straits within the region of the Aegean Sea. Change the first it in the second sentence to the strait to be more specific.

As a result, these beaches tend to attract more experienced swimmers, and locals rather than tourists. Remove comma between swimmers and the word and.

In the Cave of Zeus section, clearly establish that the cave is located within the National Park.

In the Cave of Zeus section, split the sentence The entrance is dense in vegetation, covering parts of it, and there is also a wishing tree that people tie objects to in order to make a wish, in the hope that it will be granted. into two separate sentences, one about dense vegetation, one about the wishing tree.

Its highest mountain, Dilek Dağı, is approximately 1,237 metres (4,058 ft) AMSL high Change Dilek Dağı to Mount Mycale and remove AMSL.

Events could be moved to the history section, rather than the activity section.

Optional edit-In the first sentence under the history section: For most of the area's existence, the lands from the peninsula southwards to the river delta were uninhabited by people or very sparsely settled, and were otherwise untouched by human influence., be more specific as to what peninsula and river delta are being mentioned. This may seem a bit peculiar, but it would be better to have this information than not.

Comment

[edit]

This review is probably going to be quick, as all of the problems I had in the first GA Review have been fixed. I may however, find other issues, which I will post below.

I fixed some grammar errors that I found, but everything looks good now.

This is the only area in which I can find any problems. Using checklinks, I found two sources that have issues. For reference 17, the website cannot be reached, and reference 30 comes up with a 404 error. Any information that is in the article and relies on these two sources would have to be referenced with different websites.

Nice job with fixing the descriptions, everything looks good now!

Overall

[edit]

The sources problem is the only thing that needs to be fixed. When these issues are fixed, the article can be passed Will211 (talk) 06:30, 15 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, I see that the references have been fixed. With the gallery, I think the topographic model would be good to put in the article, but that's your decision. Since the problems have been fixed, this article can pass. Will211 (talk) 00:50, 16 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Greek names

[edit]

I think it would be useful for the general reader to include all the old greek place names in brackets after the current Turkish ones. Personally I find such articles a bit confusing and have to constantly Google the place names to find ones I recognise. This applies to all Anatolian articles. 109.144.215.166 (talk) 20:17, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
