[edit]I do object to the deletion of this article on the basis of notability. I believe the subject of this article, Mr. Jarmon, is notable, although not generally known, for his efforts to preserve a part of American industrial history.
I have rewritten this article in an a tempt to make it more precise, although, further editing may be needed. I have also added the stub tag. - JGHgroup (talk) 05:01, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
Name of article
[edit]Shouldn't this be under "Dick Jarmon" with a redirect from "Porter-Cable Collector"? - Dravecky (talk) 03:59, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, and I've moved it. -- Whpq (talk) 14:34, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
Merger proposal
[edit]I don't think the subject is notable enough for his own article, but I think this page would work well as a subsection of the Porter-Cable article. --typhoon (talk) 06:22, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
- I went ahead and merged this into the Porter-Cable article, which seems uncontroversial given the proposal went a week without comment. Hopefully, this merger will streamline and simplify things a bit. --typhoon (talk) 05:55, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
