As the son of an Earl, surely he was Lord David, not Sir David?

The 1959 London gazette entry for this KCVO has him listed as ‘The Honourable David Bowes-Lyon’. So evidently he didn’t take up use of the title. Nford24 (PE121 Personnel Request Form) 01:33, 20 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
