Suspect
[edit]Need proper guidelines on whether it is appropriate to name a suspect per BLPCrime guidelines. Borgenland (talk) 10:23, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
- He was named in many Croatian-language newspapers after charges were brought. Since they would get in trouble for doing so if it were illegal, it is likely that it is legal to name him once he is charged. Input from Croatian editors is welcome though. Wiki guidelines just specify "innocent until proven guilty"--i.e., must specify this is an alleged crime rather than a proven one. Chaoticidealism (talk) 18:46, 24 July 2024 (UTC)
- Just did some editing to improve clarity of Pahoki being a suspect rather than a convicted criminal. Should be OK now. -~~ Chaoticidealism (talk) 19:03, 24 July 2024 (UTC)
Victims
[edit]Victims are still unnamed. Shall watch the news & add their names if I find them. Unsure of legality of naming living victims; recommend not doing so. Deceased victims should be OK.-Chaoticidealism (talk)
