Mill...
[edit]What was the original mill before it became one for flax? Wool? Cotton? It should say! Peter Shearan 14:07, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
Notable People Section
[edit]I removed the name Tom Peet from the notable persons section as I know Tom Peet and I know that he is not suitable for inclusion in the notable persons section for Darley Dale. I believe this addition was a minor act of vandalism most likely by Tom Peet himself or one of his friends. Zeb 00:14, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
I removed Richmal Crompton from the list of famous persons because she went to St Elphin's College in Warrington NOT Darley Dale

History Section
[edit]The citation for the Benedictine Abbey is a non-existent web page. I have been unable to find an alternative citation. I suspect that the originator has confused Darley Dale with Darley Abbey (near Derby) and its Augustine canons. Please let me know if you can provide an alternative citation.
