This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because...:
I do not think this discussion should be about speedy deletion but redirecting /merging article. And if we only need one of the articles (I agree), I think it should be located at Danish Constituent Assembly and not at 1848 Danish Constituent Assembly election. It seems more natural to cover the election proces in an article about the Danish Constituent Assembly than covering the actual work of the assembly and other aspects not related to the election in an article about the election.
Furthermore, bear in mind that not all members of the Danish Constituent Assembly were elected. 38 members were appointed by the king and all government ministers (first in the so-called March Cabinet and later in the November Cabinet) were born members. The election is thus, again, a subtopic of the Danish Constituent Assembly while the opposite is not the case.
And for whatever it is worth, the existing article did not have an interwiki link to the Danish article about Den Grundlovgivende Rigsforsamling and was not categorized in Category:Constituent assembles. If that had been the case, I would have seen it and proposed a move instead. But the existing article does not contain a list of the members (not even the elected ones) and that is another reason why the relevant discussion should be about a merger and not a speedy deletion.--Ramblersen2 (talk) 16:08, 10 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This article is not a duplicate. It provides a full list of all those elected while the other only describes the election in general terms. A merge is possible but two separate articles would probably be better. Mccapra (talk) 05:25, 11 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
