[edit]I deleted the reference to somebody's AP US history teacher (Arman Afshani). Totally irrelevant and the guy is not notable.
I wouldn't be surprised if someone added that name as some sort of class project. If so, let me tell you how hilariously clever you are. Wow! People can edit Wikipedia! This allows me to be an asshole and make shit up! Watch me do it and then make a profound point about the internet that has already been made dozens of times!

Requirements for homesteaders
[edit]The sentence reads "The homesteader was required to build a 12x14-foot dwelling and farm the land for five years or plant trees."
It sounds like they had the option to either:
A) farm the land for five years
B) plant trees
Does this mean that they didn't need to live there for five years if they just planted some trees? Or is the sentence poorly worded? Yellowpelican (talk) 19:28, 12 December 2024 (UTC)
