Not too many issues here.

Lead section

"The father overhears and becomes furious before whisking his daughter away to a boarding school." I would change the to her.

Plot

"The father refuses him and Hal is knocked down" I would remove the word him from this sentence.

Release and reception

"The film would also be released in Great Britain on October 16, 1910." Change Great Britain to the United Kingdom.
