The current date of Coventry Polytechnic is 1987, this is incorrect. I entered Coventry (Lanchester) Polytechnic in 1983 and completed my degree 3 years later in 1986 (I received credit for my industry year beforehand). Some long standing lecturers near retirement handed out photocopies with the Lanchester name another Coventry (Lanchester) was more common. My degree certificate was awarded in the summer of 1986 is formerly titled Coventry Polytechnic (no mention of Lanchester). I am not exactly sure, when Coventry Polytechnic superseded Lanchester, it was before 1987. Does anyone know of proper formal records, in order to correct the Coventry Polytechnic date here in Wikipedia? dmode (talk) 09:29, 24 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
"The Graham Sutherland building was the main building for the Art and Design faculty. It has since been demolished and replaced with the Delia Derbyshire building."
I'm not in any way saying that is incorrect, but it doesn't appear to be supported by any source I can find, certainly not this one. Harfarhs (talk) 22:00, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
