Airline Operated Aircraft
[edit]Unless an objection is raised, I propose removing this section. It is inconsistent with other airport articles and has the potential to change even more than the destinations. I will give a few days for comments, and if nothing is said, I will remove it. NW036 13:20, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
Well I guess for most airports it has the possibility to change. But LIT doesn't really change that much. I'd guess that information changes maybe once a month, if that much. (Jbrewste 15:20, 9 July 2007 (UTC))
- I agree, as long as the airline list itself is not removed. The airline and routing list is very useful, I believe. "Antonio Sex and HIGHness Martin" 1:43, 1 November, 2008 (UTC)
FedEx
[edit]Wasn't FedEx originally based (or supposed to be based) at LIT? -- Gyrofrog (talk) 16:54, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
Service to Phoenix
[edit]How come if there is a flight to Phoenix on the page's map, there is no indication that such a flight exists on the airline and destination section?? Perhaps Southwest Airlines covers the route and no one listed Phoenix next to Southwest? Or USAirways? Or perhaps that line needs to be deleted from the route map on the article??
-- "Antonio Humping you Martin" 1:47, 1 November, 2008 (UTC)
Southwest doesn't have the non-stop to PHX anymore according to it's own routemap. The map needs to make several corrections....MSP and PHX have both been dropped. And MEM needs to be added.
- Ah, thanks for the update. Antonio Ringsidereport.com's Reliable Source Martin 9:55, 6 January, 2009 (UTC)
No, the official website lists service to PHX.165.82.76.44 (talk) 14:02, 15 March 2011 (UTC)
Service to Pittsburgh
[edit]However, there is definitely no service to Pittsburgh165.82.76.44 (talk) 14:02, 15 March 2011 (UTC)
Flight volume
[edit]Perhaps this section needs updating. As of August 2012, Southwest has only 12 daily flights serving this airport, and Delta (all services) has nine, according to gate agents at the airport (weekday services). I don't know what the numbers are for American Eagle. Given these numbers, 150 daily flights appears to be unrealistic. 40-60 might be more like it. There has been a trend of smaller market airports losing service...Raryel (talk) 06:41, 3 September 2012 (UTC)
A quick check of the LIT webpage flight tracker shows 50 arrivals and 50 departures on a weekday. Eric in SF (talk) 11:42, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
Incidents/Accidents?
[edit]Most airport articles have an incidents/accidents section. Is there any particular reason why this article doesn't have one, or is this just an oversight?
This article would certainly be a good starting point for anyone who needs convincing that such a section would be an appropriate addition to the article. 64.185.130.216 (talk) 14:55, 11 September 2012 (UTC)

Destination Maps
[edit]The purpose provides a visual location of destinations. These types of visuilazations is typically encouraged in wikipedia as it provided more information. A number of airports with maps have more passenger traffic, destination, etc. than this (ie. John Wayne, SW FL Int'l, Buffalo-Niagra, Reno–Tahoe Int'l, Will Rogers World Airports...).. As long as it doesn't overclutter the map or outdate, I've found no reason for removal. Dmm1169 (talk) 04:19, 27 March 2021 (UTC)
Mr Malinowski .
[edit]Not sure of why mention is made of Mr Malinowski in this article: needs one to itself. However he was not charged with anything as he was shot in the head within 57 secs of the ATF breaking down his door and died afterward, so he was in no state to be charged with anything.
