Inflated winnings figures
[edit]Why is it important to know what the value of his winnings are in "today's dollars"? Jeopardy's score board is not indexed to inflation, not to mention that those figures will continue to become outdated. --Herpdaderp (talk) 19:22, 27 August 2010 (UTC)
- Those values are not indexed to inflation. All the prize levels were doubled several years ago. Since the game is scored in dollars and not in points, this means that a "score" of $60,000 under the rules of 1982 is the same as a "score" of $120,000 under the current rules. Probably this could be explained better in the article. --Orlady (talk) 19:31, 27 August 2010 (UTC)
