Album Artwork might be deleted

[edit]

There is another feature by Baby Keem which was forgotten in the features list.

Can some please find the CC liscense for the album for use as its marked as unfree. Thanks. Booksandarticles (talk) 17:22, 17 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It's the main identifier for the page so shouldn't it be fine? I thought CD covers fell under Fair Use if it's the "work's primary means of visual identification, at the top of the article" MasonJSO (talk) 21:54, 17 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Added CD cover back onto page, as it falls under Fair Use due to being the main identifier for the work in question MasonJSO (talk) 00:12, 18 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Chromakopia Is the Eighth album of Tyler, not the twentieth. it is the eighth album....

181.239.234.64 (talk) 12:44, 21 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It's the seventh, Bastard is a mixtape. BlondArkhangel (talk) 03:27, 24 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
its an album. he calls chromakopia "the 8th album by tyler the creator" at the end of the vinyl teaser. Melonkunn (talk) 04:42, 24 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Tyler is likely referring to it being a project made-like an album. However, is technically his 7th album. Bastard was not released through any label and/or is not available on any major streaming platforms. Therefore, Bastard is a mixtape. BlondArkhangel (talk) 05:14, 24 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I mean technically it's not his eight STUDIO album. Bastard is a mixtape by definition. Manny196 (talk) 14:14, 28 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Finding correct personnel for Chromakopia

[edit]

There's been many claimed credits to the project, if or when we get the info on personnel credits, somebody please validate which are true or not. Somebody claimed that Frank Ocean is credited on here, but I cannot find a valid source to support that. BlondArkhangel (talk) 03:30, 24 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sadly, Frank Ocean is not on Chromakopia i have confirmed this on multiple sources, and the feature list is up to date. Goodusernametbd (talk) 22:44, 19 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Teaser section

[edit]

I've added some cleanup tags to the teaser section. I'm not sure that Wikipedia needs a detailed description of every single teaser video that has ever been released for this album, and even if it did, there are hardly any citations outside of primary sources. IMO this section probably just needs to be removed until there are reliable sources demonstrating the importance of the individual teasers. --Chris | Crazycomputers (talk) 16:30, 27 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

i agree, we should just remove it as we already have smaller descriptions of each teaser in the background section and i really dont think we need a large section for teasers as its not really important - should just keep it in the background section Ralancer (talk) 12:15, 28 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Teaser section

[edit]

So, are we going to remove the teaser section, because the some of the information for the could be delegated to its own articles like Noid, and St Chroma with excessive detail that can really justify its own articles oredeletion all together because most of that information could be added to a background section Stevie extreme (talk) 14:19, 28 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Higher Quality Artwork Available

[edit]

Not an editor, but Tyler uploaded a 2048x2048 image of Chromakopia’s album cover to his Twitter/x (https://x.com/tylerthecreator/status/1850919969392922639?s=46) if anybody happens to want to replace the current artwork for a higher quality version. Trixinous (talk) 16:11, 28 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Trixinous We can't really do that due to our guideline on fair use. We have to use copyrighted images in such a way so that they do not infringe on copyright, such as making the image's resolution less than 0.1 MP, which we do. mwwv converseedits 16:49, 28 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Missing features

[edit]

Not sure if the feature/credit list is populated from one singular source, but I noticed at least one missing feature, that being Simmonds/Daniel Caesar on track 13 "Balloon." He can be clearly heard as backing vocals starting at timestamp 1:41 and prominently at the close of the track at 2:00. I was curious if this is supposed to be in the credits list or if the credits list is explicitly based on officially credited names or from one particular source. Additionally if there are any other missing credits they should probably be discussed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by LuphoriaBread (talkcontribs) 03:11, 30 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
