[edit]I am rewriting the content. I didn't realise the similarities to the linked page - I gathered some of the facts I wrote about from a press release I was sent. Please don't delete this page yet. thanks. Cwtch 22:24, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
- Wikipedia articles should not be written from press releases but from reliable verifable third party sources. (Oh - and please sign Talk pages but not article pages. Thanks. B1atv 22:27, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
- I just did a Google search and they guy has a page on BBC Wales, which is a reliable source. I have taken the speedy delete tag off but a lot of work is still needed to get the article up to standard. --DanielRigal 22:37, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
- BBC Wales do "minisites" for "upcoming unsigned artists". The artists themselves upload the content so this can't be considered a source of notability. B1atv 22:41, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
- Hmmm. I didn't know that. So does the fact that they allowed him a "minisite" indicate any degree notability at all, or do they hand them out to anybody who asks? Do you think that Speedy Delete should go back on? Would it be better to put Prod on instead? That way, the author has 5 days to get the article up to scratch. Would that just be holding out false hope? --DanielRigal 22:54, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
- The BBC Wales music sites have some element of editorial control but it is there to support local bands; so it isn't the same as a BBC News article. I suspect the article now has to go through AFD but I'm going to read it through again and may think about it afresh tomorrow. B1atv 23:09, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

- The Western Mail Review of The Police concert at Millennium Stadium by "Music Critic Christopher Rees" (same chap?)
