Chris Williams (metal drummer) → Chris Williams (musician) – Only musician named Chris Williams with a Wikipedia article. Jax 0677 (talk) 15:07, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
- Merge to Control Denied per WP:BANDMEMBER. Chris Williams (drummer) and Chris Williams (musician) should redirect to dabpage Chris Williams. 162 etc. (talk) 16:22, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
- Reply Such a request must be brought up at AFD or AFM. --Jax 0677 (talk) 04:01, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
- I intend to do so, once this RM concludes. If you agree, you can withdraw the RM (as nobody has supported it yet) to make this go faster. 162 etc. (talk) 17:24, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
- Reply - There has been no solid reason for keeping the current title. --Jax 0677 (talk) 17:44, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
- If the article doesn't exist anymore, then this title issue is moot. 162 etc. (talk) 17:52, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
- Reply - This assumes that the article actually does get deleted. --Jax 0677 (talk) 17:56, 28 January 2024 (UTC)

- Oppose move to proposed redirect; there are already seven articles [1] which link to Chris Williams of the Pat McGee Band (who is not the same drummer). David O. Johnson (talk) 17:35, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
- I've removed the incoming links to Chris Williams (drummer). 162 etc. (talk) 21:02, 26 January 2024 (UTC)

- Move to Chris Williams (drummer) with a hatnote to Pat McGee Band. It's ridiculous having the one without an article at the primary disambiguator when neither are especially notable. Then take to AfD by all means. Incidentally, we don't usually use "musician" as a disambiguator unless someone plays more than one instrument and/or sings and is not primarily known for any one more than another. Otherwise we use the more specific term. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:27, 30 January 2024 (UTC)
