ASSALAAMALAIKUM everyone! I just wanted to clarify a few things regarding the pashtuns origins in the Chach valley. Yes a number of pashtun tribes did settle in the area during the time of Mahmud of Ghazni. But we also have evidence of Pashtun tribes settling in the area with the arrival of Ahmad shah Abdali. Alot of his army who were pashtun commanders and soldiers conquered the land and then settled there. Just wanted you to update this on to the wikipage. Thank you.

Major changes needed
[edit]This article needs quite a few things done:
- What is Chhachh? It's a region, largely composed of a valley, yes? So not a town, district, tehsil? Just a culturally-recognised region? That needs to be explicit in the lede and in the category.
- Why are all the villages listed in sections? If they're notable, they should be their own articles, and just given as a list of links here. Any objections to my just chopping all village content to their respective articles (creating them as necessary)?
MatthewVanitas (talk) 15:42, 14 March 2011 (UTC) Chhachh means bottom of a bowl, why it is called chhachh because area of chhachh due to shape it contains such shape. The Chhachh have been ruled by the Muslim rulers. It was part of Sarhad (Khyber Pakhtun Khawa). It is located with between Sindh river and G.T. Road. Due to a Part of Sarhad the population of Chhachh contains same Culture, Language and civilization. It is also connected with Hazara so Chhachh have both culture of Hazara and Khyber Pakhtun Khawa. Peoples of Chhachh embarrassed Islam from the time of Muhammad Bin Qasim, — Preceding unsigned comment added by 119.154.127.233 (talk) 06:11, 6 February 2012 (UTC)
