Place of birth
[edit]I slightly tweaked the place of birth. I looked up the location of Bells Rapids. I believe I found the area (probably was and is still now a log cabin, or something of that scale), but it is located at the northern tip of Hastings County. Nipissing District and Hastings County are jurisdictions that cannot overlap. I'm not familiar with the original sources, so I'm leaving this note so someone more familiar could make sure I haven't introduced errors. Maxim(talk) 18:44, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
- Hi Maxim. Thanks for the detective work - I agree that your edits are helpful to narrow down the place, which I believe is correct. I was unsure of the exact location, so I just went with what the source said, word for word. I suspect Madawaska River is also somewhere near it as well, but if it's in Hastings County, then we should list it as such. Connormah (talk) 20:18, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
