Parkeriaceae is a perfectly acceptable family name based on the validly published genus Parkeria. While Ceratopteris (1822) has priority over Parkeria (1825) at the level of genus, Parkeriaceae (1822) has priority over both Ceratopteridaceae (1900) and Acrosticheae (1874) at the level of family, although Acrostichoideae is the only validly published subfamily name for the clade. Parkeriaceae has been rejected vs. the later Adiantaceae (1840) but not against any of the other family names. Nomen ambiguum (talk) 19:49, 20 September 2013 (UTC)
