[edit]Is there a {{creepy}} template? —Manicjedi (talk) 07:34, 20 November 2011 (UTC)
Yeah I can't believe we have a cat petting page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.121.69.204 (talk) 02:51, 25 April 2012 (UTC)
My roommate and I have trouble taking this page seriously with all the innuendo. I'd like to propose this article for deletion but I am pretty new to wikipedia, so I'd like some input. Rgambord (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 02:02, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
- Article has been rewritten without all the nonsense from unreliable "sources". — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼 06:41, 3 December 2023 (UTC)
Uhh...what?
[edit]"Massaging allows information to be transferred from pet to owner, which may allow the owner to sense oncoming illnesses and stresses, and therefore take preventative measures."
A statement like that definitely needs a strong source. I'm removing it. Zeldafanjtl (talk) 04:09, 15 June 2013 (UTC)
Total rewrite
[edit]This article had become a pile of outlandish claims, many of the quite medically specific, but almost entirely sourced (if at all) to promotional blogs and other self-published garbage "sources", all of which fail WP:MEDRS. I removed all unsourced claims, and claims sourced to inappropriate "random nobody" or "buy my product or service" websites. Rewrote the material from the ground up, to follow the only reliable source cited so far. This does reduce the article to a small stub, that that is necessary in really bad cases like this, per WP:TNT. Each claim is individually cited, since later editors are likely to inject other material, with other sources, between the extant sentences. — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼 06:41, 3 December 2023 (UTC)
