Comments
[edit]This is a well-organized and well-cited article on a tree species.
- "used for nutritional and cosmetic purposes" - why not say "is edible, and can be used in cosmetics".
- Done. Change to "which is edible and is also used in cosmetics."
- Image captions don't need a "." at the end unless they are full sentences (5 to remove).
- Done
- "nut by-products" - this means the pressed cake once the oil has been extracted? Better say so.
- Done
- "high contents in proteins" - "high content of proteins" might be better.
- Done
- "even when the plan shows callus growth" - does "plan" mean "cutting" here? Better say so.
- That was a spelling mistake. "plan" means "plant". Corrected.
- "an allurement for bees" - perhaps "to attract bees".
- Done. Changed to "Furthermore, the tree also attracts bees through the nectar excreted from its leaves, aiding in the tree's pollination."
- "autochthonous" - I did Greek but many readers won't have. I think we usually use "resident" here.
- Done
- "displays a dense and leafy crown" should be "has a dense and leafy crown".
- Done
- "The species displays recalcitrant seed," - better would be "The seeds are recalcitrant," linked as now.
- Done. Changed to "The species' seeds are recalcitrant"
- " exhibits periodic shedding" should be "is periodically shed".
- Done
- I'm a bit doubtful about the 'Ecological value' section: don't these advantages apply to almost ANY local tree species? It's an error to claim specific benefits when general benefits are all that apply.
- Reduced scope of "ecological value" section to retain specificity to only this species, and not to all indigenous trees. Let me know if you agree with these changes.
- Images: all fine. Nice to see your own photos in service!
That's about it from me.
- Sorry that it's taking me a bit of time. I'll get it done by EOD Friday.CPC273 (talk) 03:26, 17 April 2020 (UTC)

- Many thanks for the work, and the fine article. Promoting now. I do hope you'll feel able to take the time to review one or two articles from the GAN queue. Chiswick Chap (talk) 09:12, 18 April 2020 (UTC)
