Attributing an opinion in queries

[edit]

Hi @Yakikaki: just a quick note - please could you provide attribution in the body of the article as to who said the "father of Swedish canoe sporting" line? This is generally required by WP:INTEXT, so readers can make a judgement about the significance of the claim. FYI I've also switched this to be the picture hook in Queue 5 so using the alternative hook instead, but it would be good to resolve the above anyway. Cheers and thanks for writing this article.  — Amakuru (talk) 21:45, 28 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Amakuru: Thanks for spotting this and altering me, and apologies for the late reply - I was at a retreat and didn't have access to the internet for some days. I looked at this one more time, and after some reflection re-phrased it. I hope it is OK like this? Probably it was not the best hook proposal to start with. The origins of the sobriquet seems a bit vague and in any case whoever coined it is probably more or less unknown. So thanks again for getting me to look and think again, and for going with the ALT instead! Best, Yakikaki (talk) 20:00, 30 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Yakikaki: thanks for that. Looks good. Cheers  — Amakuru (talk) 00:17, 1 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
