6D as it relates to 5D
[edit]What is the relationship of the 6D as it relates to the 5D? It was not a replacement, for the 5D (Mark III as of 9/27/2014) is still in production. And it doesn't seem like a higher model (?), as it costs maybe $1,000 LESS. When manufacturers name new products with a higher number than their better (?) models, it's really confusing for consumers. Misty MH (talk) 15:43, 27 September 2014 (UTC)
- yes, it is a bit confusing. The 6D is a lower-end full frame body, or in some terms a de-featured 5D. But in some other terms, a bit more advanced. Ken (talk) 19:56, 29 September 2014 (UTC)
