Paleozoic dates wrong?
[edit]The graphic at the top of the page: "Key Cambrian explosion events" shows the Paleozoic going back into the Ediacaran, which isnt correct - it starts at 541mya. Please fix! Fig (talk) 11:42, 30 March 2014 (UTC)

While I am here, can someone please clarify if the event *began* or *ended* 541 million years ago? Or perhaps that was its midway point...? Frunobulax (talk) 18:04, 25 July 2018 (UTC)

Cambrian life from outer space?
[edit]Seems many authors (over 30?) in a peer-reviewed study published in a reputable science journal (WP:RS)[1][2] presented the notion that life forms in the Cambrian explosion may have come from outer space - and not otherwise - seems fringe (WP:Fringe), but worth a consideration? - in any case - Stay Safe and Healthy !! - Drbogdan (talk) 12:59, 29 December 2021 (UTC)

coevolution subsection - ecological explanation
[edit]After the ‘increase of size and diversity of planktonic animals’ section there is a paragraph on coevolution, is that meant to be a separate section?
Would this paragraph sit better elsewhere? Or is it even necessary in the first place? Especially considering the section on evolutionary arms races. Thoughts? Watopia (talk) 13:42, 12 December 2024 (UTC)
