[edit]I can't find a layout that can be used for this, so that even linking with categories is improved. Can someone create a layout which can be used? Thanks

Article Content
[edit]Well, the section in this article with all the names is named "Current Cabinet" BUT as stated in the Cornelius Mweetwa article, that sir has been the Minister of Information and Media for 10 months now and he is not mentioned in this article. Isn't this an article that is supposed to be updated every time the President of Zambia announces a proclamation (expulsion; appointment; exchange of roles)?
Anyway, a few changes happened this past weekend, as shown in the Elijah Muchima, Sylvia Masebo, Collins Nzovu and Mike Mposha articles (each one of them has "exchanged positions" with another; citations are in the mentioned articles). Together with the earlier-mentioned Cornelius Mweetwa transfer, I'll see in a few days if I can edit this article to actually show the Current Cabinet. Thanks.

- I've noticed that it is also written "the current cabinet as of July 2024" just above the Table. Is it programmed to show the current month, maybe? That should not be happening; nobody should get the impression that "nothing has changed" since the last election happened almost 3 years ago. Anyway, since nobody else has done it, I will do the editing. Let me just gather the dates of when each person was appointed to their current positions and then I add the names where they are supposed to be mentioned. - Good; I've managed to edit the article to actually show the Current Cabinet. I also "added citations" to the most-recent dates. Thanks. Let's hope anybody (whether it is me or somebody else) who knows about this article does not wait months to edit this page when the President has done a shuffle. Short Description
[edit]@Number 57: I've noticed that this article is named "Cabinet of Zambia" without any particular person or political party indicated. Do you think the short description should follow the same guide? Also, I see a particular editor has chosen to add the nickname of Zambia's current government (New Dawn) to the introduction here while also specifically stating "First Cabinet" (implying that the president may have a different cabinet later). Is this how this page is supposed to appear? Thanks. GeographicAccountant (talk) 20:50, 9 December 2024 (UTC)
- It looks as if 'first cabinet' etc is only used if there is a second (based on e.g. the Netherlands and Sweden). I think the reference to 'New Dawn' is a bit unnecessary.
- If you look in Category:National cabinets you can see how other countries do it. Cheers, Number 57 11:34, 10 December 2024 (UTC)
- Good. So, I will undo the edits that were done by the last editor so that this article goes back to the way it was. GeographicAccountant (talk) 11:58, 10 December 2024 (UTC)
