[Sexualis] is a book written by Mori Ogai — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.58.200.81 (talk) 05:05, 23 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Whatever connection you think you see there, it is entirely original research and cannot be included in the article. —Farix (t | c) 18:47, 24 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Reverted cleanup of the "Characters" section

[edit]

My edit of the "Characters" section was reverted by User:TheFarix. I disagree with this reversion for the following reasons: (1) my edit cleaned up minor errors, including fixing incorrect sentences like "She's is a Port Mafia executive and has the ability, 'Golden Demon'", and (2) linking the characters' names to the authors whom they were named after violates MOS:EGG, as those bolded links refer in this context to the anime/manga's characters rather than the authors themselves. Essentially, my edit helped to specify and somewhat clean up the section's language, which I would not characterise as "[e]xcessive wording". –Matthew - (talk) 21:58, 26 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

if that sentence about port mafia exec was about kouyo, she IS a port Mafia exec and her ability is golden demon. However, the other things you mentioned are correct. Chocody (talk) 15:28, 15 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

RfC: Linking from character names to authors

As TheFarix has failed to respond to the above discussion, as have any other editors who might care to weigh in, I've decided to conduct an RfC to complete this discussion quickly and civilly. Should the "Characters" section of the article link characters' names to the authors whom they were named after (e.g. the character named Atsushi Nakajima links to author Atsushi Nakajima), or should the distinction be specified in the characters' descriptions (e.g. the character named Atsushi Nakajima does not link to anything, and with the link instead being included in the description, where it would be noted that the character is named after Atsushi Nakajima). –Matthew - (talk) 21:30, 27 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The link should be in the description since the characters are not based on their namesakes, just like Clone High#Characters. Linking the character name to the namesake implies the two are supposed to be the same person. Argento Surfer (talk) 13:32, 3 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Unclear (Ongoing, Organization)

[edit]

Is Bungo Stray Dogs ongoing or not? This article is also really unclear as to how the author organizes chapters. This is just a suggestion to add a couple sentences, could clear up what exactly I think should be done if necessary. 50.35.85.146 (talk) 04:49, 14 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The manga is ongoing but due to its comparably slow pacing when compared to the anime, it get's confusing when we should change the plot section. The manga already caught up with the anime but they didn't reach that cliffhanger yet involving Fukuchi's undead body (or whatever is that) and is instead focusing on Fyodor's true power. I'm not sure what part we should change.Tintor2 (talk) 22:59, 14 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Replacement of two words

[edit]

In the "Development" section, in the last paragraph, I replaced 2 words in the beginning sentence (those words being "that" and "to create") to help the sentence flow more clearly HalfEatenPotato (talk) 18:46, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
