Category

Hey @Smasongarrison, I noticed that you recently added the category "American people imprisoned in Japan" to this article. I'm a little unsure of whether this is an accurate category, since Gaido was never imprisoned in Japan, only held as a POW on one of their ships. You may know more than me on this; is a ship of a nation considered part of it? Sorry to be a bother, just want to make sure it's accurate. Moving the whole category may be a bit much for just one article but a category of "American people imprisoned by Japan" would definitely be accurate. 🌸⁠wasianpower⁠🌸 (talk • contribs) 05:48, 30 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the commentary/thoughts! I agree that the use of "in" makes it nebulous. Let me think about the use of "by", because it seems to capture the intend better in this case. ^SMason_Garrison 14:22, 30 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
