🇺🇸 Let me introduce myself, I am a retired NYPD police officer Luis Rivera from the Bronx. I wrote a book call “The 52nd” depicting the ups downs of my career. Not just as a police officer, but an Hispanic NYPD police officer. Who work all his career in the Bronx. The book is view through the lens of an Hispanic kid who grew up in the south Bronx during the 1970s, wanting to become a police officer. Then joining the NYPD and realizing the job as is known, was not the Boy Scouts. Enduring what the job throws at you and doing the best anyone can. It has a little of the good, the bad and the ugly in the career of a Bronx cop. If anyone is interested for a personal interview with the author, to talk about the book, please feel free to do so. 718-427-4156 We can add another segment to the show.
