Photo
[edit]The way the photograph copyright laws work, the original wording "His picture was also used, without his consent, on the front cover of the book "The Beautiful Boy" by Germaine Greer. Despite his complaints the publishers had permission to use the photograph from the photographer." appeared to be pejorative. I have reworded it to be neutral
Fiddle Faddle 10:19, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
- It might be neutral, but it's also completely unclear. Did he consent to its use, or didn't he? The paragraph seems to contradict itself --Stephen Burnett 18:14, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
- He neither consented not did not consent. Andresen's consent was neither required nor requested. Fiddle Faddle 18:17, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry - a blind spot on my part; somehow I read the "His" at the start of the second sentence to refer to Andresen, not Bailey. --Stephen Burnett 12:14, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- If one perosn has a blind moment so do others. So I've clarified it in the article. Fiddle Faddle 20:46, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- That reads much better - thank you --Stephen Burnett 20:56, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
Bjørn or Björn?
[edit]Is his name Bjørn Andresen or Björn Andresen? IMDB at least has the former[1]. -- Schnee (cheeks clone) 22:01, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
- Well, since I have no idea, but suspect it is "Bjørn Andresen", it will do no harm to move the page to that spelling. There are sufficient redirects to make that ok. But I'll try to check first. Fiddle Faddle 22:22, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
- Google favours "Bjørn Andresen" so I will move the page to that spelling. Fiddle Faddle 22:24, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
He is a Swedish actor, and it should thus be Björn Andresen - there is no letter ø in Swedish. ø is in the Danish and Norwegian alphabet! The page should be changed back to Björn Andresen! --Punavuori (talk) 09:00, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
- Since the move is blocked by a technicality, I have asked it to be done by an admin. Next time, please be bold and do the same. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 10:57, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
Father
[edit]Andresen said in a 2020 interview that DNA testing revealed with more than 98% certainty that his father was Swedish artist Lasse Hallberg (1933-1956).

Sal Mineo
[edit]It seems foolish to leave this language in. Mineo's killer is a black American. Tommypowell 14:25, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
- The rationale behind leaving it in is that it is a part of the subject's history. The fact that the allegation was false does not invalidate its place in the article. Fiddle Faddle 14:37, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
This article should be deleted
[edit]Yes, it is related with Death in Venice by Visconti but, since Mr. Andresen regrets to have taken part in this film, because he suffered a lot with homosexual men and the consequences Death in Venice has in his life...
There is no need at all to perturb Mr. Andresen with articles like this. Let’s remove it and allow Mr. Andresen to be an anonymous father. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.213.110.222 (talk • contribs)
- Please see WP:OTRS. Corvus cornixtalk 22:47, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
- The actor is notable and the facts of his dislike of the attendant publicity are notable. WP documents such things when citable. That one may dislike something does not make it unsuitable for inclusion.
- If you have a rationale to propose deletion please use the correct formal channels to do so. From what I see so far that is unlikely to succeed. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 23:26, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
Could we use a photo form this site?
[edit]http://photobucket.com/images/bjorn%20andresen/ I was just wondering, I'm not realy sure about WIki's Fair Use Rules, I know they are failry strict. I would suggest the adult one, though he is more well known for the younger ones,AFAIK. Kairos (talk) 03:46, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
- Probably not. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 11:36, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
- Definitely not. He's still alive, so only freely licensed photos can be used, and none of those are. +Angr 22:53, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
MOS and punctuation of quotations
[edit]Reverted an edit which has an imperfect understanding of the quotations punctuation of the MOS. Logged here because I clicked the wrong option when reverting the good faith edit. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 22:55, 7 November 2011 (UTC)

Bjorn's father
[edit]The article says that Bjorn's father was never identified, although it has been mentioned by Bjorn [2],producers of the documentary Most beautiful boy [3] and other swedish sites [4] that Lasse Hallberg (1933-1956) was his father, and his Paternal sister is Nina Hallberg. producers said they also wanted to add this to his documentary but couldn't because it was gonna be too long. 41.236.185.97 (talk) 22:23, 1 April 2024 (UTC)
