Here's my own review:
- "In 1991, after the Exxon Valdez oil spill, Bird TLC built a temporary flight center in JBER..." — JBER didn't exist until 2010. Before that, it was two separate installations, Elmendorf Air Force Base and Fort Richardson. In the next section, you clarify that it's Fort Richardson (see below for more). Did they occupy this site at any time when it was still known as JBER? The chronology is muddy right off the bat.
- Still on that passage, why is there a citation in the middle of a sentence (after "temporary")? It's not the only example of such.
- "Bird TLC was given permission by the municipality of Anchorage" — "Municipality of Anchorage" is a proper name. Later on in the article, I see "Anchorage's white raven", linking to Anchorage White Raven. Is that a proper name or not?
- Speaking of the Municipality of Anchorage, I see fairly recent press releases and some related coverage of land they own and/or manage in the vicinity of Potter Marsh, but most of the marsh is part of the Anchorage Coastal Wildlife Refuge, administered by the Alaska Department of Fish and Game. It's unclear to me why the Municipality is involved, except for the aforementioned sources talking about the development of new parklands. It's unclear if this center is part of that or not, other than the timeline suggesting that this entity came first.
- "...and the center planned to finish moving to the new location in 2018." It's now 2024. We're giving more weight to announcements of occurrences than the occurrences themselves? This smacks of multiple violations of policies or guidelines.
- The "Facilities" section repeats a lot of the information found in the "History" section without necessarily shining new light on it. RadioKAOS / Talk to me, Billy / Transmissions 21:08, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
