Is the assumption that phi's image is open really necessary? Immediately after the article says that is holomorphic, hence continuous. Continuity implies that the inverse image of any open set is open. Since U is open, then is open. Or have I missed something? --DreadSam (talk) 23:26, 25 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
