Wrong Shorty Long cited
[edit]There is a factual error for this entry. The “Shortly Long” who is cited and linked to is the wrong Shorty Long.
My father, Nat Tannen, a music publisher, published songs by the Shortly Long who acted in the original production of "The Most Happy Fella") and I believe that Nat connected Shorty with Frank Loesser, who wrote "The Most Happy Fella".
The Rock & Country Encyclopedia & Discography page for the correct Shortly Long lists the CD “HEY, DOLL BABY - THE SHORTY LONG STORY 1947-1956” and with its songs including ‘Standing On The Corner (From "The Most Happy Fella")’ https://rocky-52.net/chanteursl/long_shorty.htm#:~:text=US%20Country%20singer%20born%20Emidio%20Vagnoni%2C%20October%2031%2C,%28Philadelphia%2C%20Pennsylvania%29.%20Shorty%20Long%20died%20October%2025%2C%201991.
