I had not finished the edit of this page. She is a more noteable politician than say "Cameron Brewer" as she is twice elected chair of the Rodney Local board and he is just a member of the board. More needs to be added to the page but she absolutely meets the criteria. Unbiasedpolitics (talk) 09:11, 9 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
For a user that has made only eleven edits you come across as super confident. Let's wait until after the general election, if she is elected as an MP on the ACT party list, she becomes automatically notable. Ajf773 (talk) 09:13, 9 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I must say that I'm a bit suprised that being Deputy Leader of the ACT New Zealand doesn't make her notable - and the article as it stands/(stood?) certainly needs work - but the policy does seem clear, and she doesn't seem notable otherwise - Snori (talk) 09:40, 9 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
There is consensus that local body politicians have no inherent notability. In New Zealand, the only exception to this are councillors of Auckland City (the new mega city, that is). That, of course, covers Cameron Brewer. Schwede6620:46, 9 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Disagree that she is not notable. She is the Deputy Leader of a party in the New Zealand Parliament, even if she is not herself a member. She has made multiple national media appearances in that role and led a successful local political movement.
WP:NPOLITICIAN applies. Being a chair in a local board or a deputy party leader is not enough for notability. Until she wins a seat in Parliament, or is notable for reasons underlined in WP:GNG, she doesn't meet the requirements. Ajf773 (talk) 07:29, 24 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
