Addition to Project Buddhism

[edit]

I don't see what this hospital has to do with Buddhism, so I removed it from this project. Mightyhansa (talk) 17:39, 27 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A chidhoid memott from 1948

[edit]

I spent a week in Belgrave Hospital in 1948 as a 5 year old child. No visitors were allowed 'in case it upset the children' My Dad was able to come on one Sunday afternoon and I was very ypset when he had to leave. I was admitted with cystitis and wet the bed at home. I wet it first night and the ward sister slapped me. I was given mince to eat, full of gristle that made me retch. Same Sister force fed it to me as I cried. Not a good memory. Thank God the NHS has moved on today and children are cherished. 78.150.232.113 (talk) 15:53, 29 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
