Seems to be about the same battle Fram (talk) 17:47, 15 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Fram No its not the same Battle. The Battle of Podujevo was in the town podujevo, but when that was lost their remaining stronghold was Llapashtica which Serbs targeted after the battle as a seperate battle but failed. Dr Dijon Ethem Kurti (talk) 18:31, 15 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
But then there are many things which don't match. The Llapashtica battle supposedly "broke a 2 month ceasefire" but came days after the battle of Poduvejo? Both can't be true. And the Poduvejo article says that it was fought "in the village of Llapashtica e Epërme in the municipality of Podujevo." Are there good WP:RS which treat the two as clearly distinct events? Fram (talk) 07:56, 16 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Fram You're misunderstanding. The ceasefire wasn't active for 2 months, then broken, but a ceasefire, which was supposed to last 2 months yet was broken immediately. Dr Dijon Ethem Kurti (talk) 16:37, 16 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Podujevo was 23-27, Llapashtica was 24-28, so there was no time between the two battles. I see that another editor has claimed meanwhile that the Llapashtica battle article has WP:OR issues. Simply redirecting it here may be the best solution. Fram (talk) 16:48, 16 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Fram we have several sources that name the battles as separate. They have different casualties, dates, end results, and commanders. In the battle of Podujevo the town was captured but Llapashtica remained and they failed to take it.They happened at roughly the same time but they were seperate battles. Dr Dijon Ethem Kurti (talk) 22:18, 16 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Can you point me to two sources or so that treat these as different battles? Wasn't clear from the sources I looked at... Fram (talk) 22:30, 16 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Fram Check the references you'll see that some title it as the 'Beteja e Llapashtices', meaning the Battle of Llapashtica English sources often call it an offensive or clashes I dont mind changing the title if its more suitable.

Neither of these sources discuss both battles, neither source makes it clear that these are two different events, and not just two names for the same event. Fram (talk) 08:09, 17 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
