I don't know how to 'flag' this, but the section 'the ambush' has parts lifted verbatim and without attribution from Frank Owen's "The Fall of Singapore." This is a well written article. I am a Malaysian and most Malaysians only barely know about the major battles in Malaya during WWII. The photographs accompanying this article are excellent and are attention grabbers. Dunno how to fix it, but the Japanese War Crimes section, particularly the first sentence, is WAY POV. I mean, "bestial savagery"? "massacre"? Let the facts speak for themselves, et. al.66.215.20.28 (talk) 05:24, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
