I don't think this is uncontroversial: people will have added to this list for various reasons. I therefore propose that Why? I Ask retracts this proposal and submits a longer-form deletion proposal. I, for one, would support the proposal to delete this page: if a piece of musical is notable in itself it should have its own page. These can be grouped in a category. In summary, right conclusion, but wrong process: people may want to review the list before it is deleted (if that is the outcome). Millstream3 (talk) 17:59, 2 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I take a very liberal view with PRODing. If I don't believe it has a chance at deletion discussions, then I'll start with a PROD. If someone removes it, then great, we can debate about it at the respective venue. If no one does, then that means it was not a very important page to begin with. If someone wants the page back after a PROD, then they are welcome to request undeletion. I personally just like to save time and editor energy. Why? I Ask (talk) 19:15, 2 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
