Hey have you seen this? Seems to be still going and on the telly! Victuallers (talk) 17:25, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

See my note below. I think your article needs updating (and may well do again soon if we get the game up and running after approximately a 140-year gap) Steffanllyn (talk) 17:37, 6 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This last reference is a "What If?" Alternate History site. I also think there is little or no evidence that Bando is "Now a minority sport" and that "the game survives as an amateur game in parts of Wales" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.194.199.148 (talk) 22:38, 29 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
"Now a minority sport, the game is still played in parts of Wales where it has become an Easter tradition". I've found no evidence of the game still being played in Wales - although a group of us are currently (December 2024) working to revive it. The author of the article does, indeed seem to have been taken in by what is a spoof article. I contacted the author of said article (at http://www.thejudge.me.uk/TVR/TVR_gal_ATC_TC_02.htm) and he confirmed as much. Steffanllyn (talk) 17:35, 6 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
