I tagged this as confusing because of this incomplete sentence, "The Northern tradition in areas such as Saddleworth was for oatcakes (a sort of hard, long lasting oaten biscuit)." Like I said, it's incomplete and doesn't really make sense. Welsh names for bakestone

Could a Welsh linguist please correct this phrase?

...a bakestone, 'maen' in Welsh; 'gradell' in the north of the country, and 'planc', is the name...

Should this read "and 'planc' in the south"? Is it accurate?Verbcatcher (talk) 03:27, 9 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
