The nearest I can guess is - If you had the same superpowers as Daredevil and you could "see" sounds, then maybe a peal of thunder would be visually represented to you as though it were a bolt of lightning. In THAT case, I could understand how a person might name this thing a "Thunder Bolt." Beyond that, however, thunder peals and lightning bolts. One is a visual phenomenon and the other is an audio phenomenon. They don't interchange media, so lightning never peals and thunder never bolts.
I am always open to the possibility that I might have missed something, be oblivious to something. If there is a case for how the sounds of thunder can form bolts, I would very much like to hear it. 2001:8003:E46D:2300:6D18:C8D5:1E0F:BC5B (talk) 01:48, 21 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
