This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered.
Information to be added or removed: Please remove (formerly Baptist Child and Family Services)
Explanation of issue: I understand that it is historical information. How about if we move it down further in the article with a sentence or two about the name change, rather than placing it right at the front of the article where it only confuses people and makes them think that we are still affiliated with the Baptist church? I would note that on the Texas A&M University page you do not say Texas A&M University (formerly Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas)... So why do you insist on doing that to our organization? Please explain.

@BCFS PIO: The URL you kindly provided shows your organization's current name, but doesn't seem to have any info about the name change. Would you like to suggest a sentence or two, and provide a reference for the name change? Thanks! GoingBatty (talk) 01:25, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The Wikipedia entry on BCFS Health and Human Services is inaccurate and biased to the point of embarrassment. Is there any way we can get an editor who does not rely on biased sources to proved some accurate updates and corrections? Mwthomas87 (talk) 23:33, 1 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The most recent "sources" for this page are from 2019. Since then, BCFS Health and Human Services has evolved and changed. It no longer provides ANY of the services listed in this entry. But my effort to make corrections have been thwarted. The editors on this page are quick to restore old, outdated and inaccurate information, but won't lift a finger to correct misinformation or errors. The article could definitely use updating, however the solution is not to remove entire sections of sourced information. If you believe that the sources used violate Wikipedia:Reliable sources please identify them accordingly. Do you have reliable sources that describe the changes at BCFS and current services?
