Proposed change
[edit]Hi there,
I'd like to propose a couple of changes to this article for the sake of accuracy. To be transparent, I'm a Vodafone employee.
The first change I propose relates to the sentence "He writes an infrequent note to all Vodafone staff". Arun sends this out every month, so I guess this should be reflected in the text.
The second proposed change is an update of Vodafone Essar's market position from 4 to 3. As of August 2007, Vodafone was the third largest operator in India by customer numbers, according to the latest figures from the COAI (Cellular Operators Association of India) which represents GSM operators and the AUSPI (Association of Unified Telecom Service providers of India) which represents CDMA operators. These industry figures put Bharti on 46.8m customers, Reliance on 34.5m (GSM and CDMA customers), VOD Essar on 34.1m, and BSNL on 29.7m. September CDMA customer subscription numbers are not yet available.
Hope to put these changes in over the weekend in the spirit of improving the article.
