Article 4 and Human Trafficking
[edit]The scope of Article 4 has been expanded following the case of Rantsev v Cyprus to consider human trafficking. This is significant due to particular groups in society being at a higher risk of becoming victims of modern slavery and being forced into manual labour or sex work.
