About the April 9th & 10th rewrite
[edit]It was good to see so much more detail added to the article. The article was nothing but a stub until then. Unfortunately I had to revert the changes because my attempts at rewriting it in order to meet reasonable editorial standards proved too daunting.
The major problem of the edits is the promotional language of Peters' ideologies. The claims Peters made for his ideas are listed as facts. No critical analysis is given, no citations to critical analysis are given, and no hint that any of it was even controversial is given. Peters's claims are not even described as claims, but as facts.
I encourage the editor who made those contributions to separate the facts from the ideology, and present facts about the ideology rather than promote the ideology. Then we will have an encyclopædic article. Strebe (talk) 20:12, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
Dissertation
[edit]Peters made his Dr. in 1945. The title of his paper was "Der Film als Mittel öffentlicher Führung. Bestimmungsversuch der Aufgaben und Voraussetzungen einer Filmpublizistik." Insofar you can say it was on political propaganda; actually it was on film (It can also be translated as “Public guidance by means of film”). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.123.15.167 (talk) 16:16, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
Unscientific
[edit]Peters has never been a skilled cartographer. His map he invented for his own communist agenda. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2003:8C:4C6C:7200:6D8B:8BD4:5C0F:7CB6 (talk) 10:23, 21 March 2017 (UTC)
