[edit]This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because this page describes the Arab Astronomical Society, which is the first professional astronomical society in the Arab region. Its activities have been featured by the International Astronomical Union (IAU) and Arab press. Its activities benefit students and researchers in the Arab countries.
