Change of name
[edit]Can anyone offer any insight as to when and why the product changed its name (at least in the UK) from Appletise to Appletiser?

- From their History page (archived):
- 1982
- The sparkling Appletiser family catches the attention of South African Breweries and Appletise International is formed. "Appletise" - the name used in international markets, is launched in the United Kingdom. Now even the Brits have something to smile about.
- 2001
- The decision is made to standardise the Appletiser brand name, packaging and positioning all around the World.
- So far, so sales-speak. If I had to guess, I suspect the change for the international market was to avoid any confusion with the contemporary carbonated soft drink Tizer. 87.75.113.64 (talk) 21:56, 3 April 2022 (UTC)
