Article issues, February 2020

[edit]

I gave the article a once-over, checking citations, correcting and completely those flawed citations that could be readily done, and setting all the bad web sources up for filling bythe reFill team. I also began checking text to source, and made minor content edits so the text here says what those sources say (no more, no less). The tags that are placed are the minimal—noting what content I found in the lead, infobox, and main body that are without justification by source, and after that calling attention to the global issues remaining. I understand that this is an author that has been highly regarded in her circles and among her readers. She is deserving of careful editing, and full compliance with WP:VER and WP:OS. The route to GA status—besides wide and careful reading and summarizing of the secondary and scholarly sources—is attention to the real issues that each article presents. As a former academic, I've indicated what I think they are, here.

Thanks in advance to the reFill team for the hard work they do to fix bad web citations. Cheers, all. 2601:246:C700:19D:E443:4C25:B2A0:E36 (talk) 07:54, 28 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
