Bilt Rewards, not a credit-card company
[edit]@Hipal The intro need to be more accurate about what Bilt Rewards is. Per online sources the description is: "Bilt Rewards is a loyalty program that lets you earn points to redeem in multiple ways. You can earn Bilt Rewards points by simply becoming a member, linking a qualifying card to your Bilt Rewards account and transacting with Bilt partners. Perhaps most notably, you can earn Bilt Rewards points by paying your rent." Please let's revert back to the description that i had provided before which is "a loyalty program where their members earn points on rent payments and their spending in their local neighborhoods." - Thanks for starting a discussion on the matter.
- What sources are you basing your changes on?
- Unless there have been some changes in sources since I last looked, the current wording is based upon the sources that are currently being used. --Hipal (talk) 23:39, 19 October 2024 (UTC)
- @Hipal Check this info below based on their own website, which would be the most accurate description. As everybody knows the media is not always accurate in their reporting. Although they also offer a credit card, they are not a credit card company.
- The credit card is not a requirement, members can gather rewards points with their own "debit or credit card linked to their Bilt account." to say "a credit-card loyalty company" is not accurate. You can say "loyalty program that has an optional credit card."
- Here is also an article from Fortune which you can use as a reference:

- We should only be using independent, reliable sources in a BLP. Their own press and public relations pieces should not be used. --Hipal (talk) 18:14, 20 October 2024 (UTC)
