“Kim is the first Democratic member of Congress of Korean descent, the first American born member of Congress of Korean descent, and the second overall after Jay Kim.”
Another way of phrasing this is “Kim is the second Korean-American to serve in Congress, after Republican Jay Kim.”
Remove "He will face Menendez, who is running as an independent, and Republican Curtis Bashaw in the general election." and replace with "He will face Republican Curtis Bashaw in the general election." due to Menendez dropping out Locked101 (talk) 20:07, 16 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
